FYLDE Community Arts Project’s popular annual art and photography competition and exhibition held at Marsh Mill is getting closer.
Entries are still being accepted for both creative categories with deadlines on Saturday, June 30 for art and Sunday, July 1 for photography.
Once entered the work is to be submitted to Marsh Mill on Sunday July 8 between 11am and 3pm.
The exhibition will run from July 28 to August 5, ending in the prize-giving musical ceremony in the square attended by the mayor on Sunday, August 5.
FyldeCap member and curator of the Kiln House Gallery at Marsh Mill, Ann Charlesworth said: “FyldeCap believes creativity should be available to everyone, no matter what ability they have and this event not only develops a community spirit and an opportunity to exhibit and win prizes, but also provides artists with an opportunity to sell their work.
“It is great to be able to keep this annual tradition alive, despite people’s busy lives and commitments, and to keep it at Marsh Mill.”
Forms can be downloaded from the website or collected from Libraries and Information Centres around the Fylde and Wyre, including The Kiln House Gallery.
