Basil Newby, owner of the Flamingos club, has pulled out all the stops for 12 days of non-stop festive clubbing, attracting some of the top names in the world of clubbing.
With super club brand Cream headlining the New Year’s Eve 9pm to 9am marathon, Basil is looking forward to one the busiest weeks in the resort’s clubbing calendar:
“This Christmas and New Year Flamingos brings Blackpool the very best in the world of global dance and super star DJ’s from Rock FMs Mark Freejack to Cream resident Andy Mac, Capital FM’s Andi Durrant and Hat Club’s’ Jay Funk,” he said.
Flamingos will also be hosting their epic party nights including a UV party as well as its own Flamingo resident DJ’s Robert Bagshaw, Irene McGarvie, Paul Gregory and Stuart Robinson hosting various Fierce and Sanctuary nights throughout.
Flamingos is open every night including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Night, New Year’s Eve and New Years Day – and every night in between.
One night not to be missed is the super club brand Hat-Club as they head north for a very special debut appearance at Flamingos on Boxing Day.
Since 2004 Hat-Club has been winning the hearts and hats of thousands of clubbers worldwide with its simple but unique concept. Like a masquerade, the hats create mystery, fun, sexiness, identity and a sense of unity between clubbers.
Everyone is invited to get in the spirit of the occasion and wear go wild and wonderful hats with pride and add to the mystique and magic that only Hat Club can bring to this unique party.
In the past eight years Hat-Club has put on events in over 15 locations across the globe including, Ibiza, Ayia Napa, Shanghai, Dubai, and thrown parties at numerous top venues in London and throughout the UK.
The hat Club party runs from 11pm to 6am. The party keeps on rocking – literally on Thursday with a party night to beat all party night as Rock FM storms into town with a night of classic cuts from DJ Mark Freejack,.
“Mark is a legend and we are delighted to welcome him to Flamingos for his fabulous debut,” said Basil. “The team are super excited as from the early 1990’s to the present day Mark has been at the top of the club scene, playing at and filling some of the North West’s premier venues. He is famous for his storming sets in Blackpool at The Syndicate and other top venues up and down the UK.
Doors open 11pm to 5am.
Friday is the UV Party with clubbers invited to wear white clothing and UV make up to stand out and be noticed. Doors open 11pm to 6am and DJ Robert Bagshaw will be helping party goers enjoy all things bright beautiful on the dancefloor.
