THE new look Copacabana on Clifton Street, has seen its student run Thirsty Thursdays take off big stye.
With live bands (residents being The Maddisons) and guest DJ’s the night is run by students for students and boats a special Copa Student Card for deals on drinks and student specials every week.
Saturday sees party time and games with recent addition to the venue Mad Mark Kemp and his party set – playing everything from 70’s up to the latest chart toppers.
Luke Prior, the new entertainments manger at Copacabana has led the way in providing for all music taste at Copa.
Luke is responsible for bringing names like Chase & Status, Pendulum and Subfocus to Blackpool and also holds a monthly residency at the legendary Jungle Jam in Leeds which is regarded as one UK’s finest events.
“I’m dedicated to bringing to Copacabana the finest music and talent the country has to offer,” he said.
Plans include live bands with DJ led music.
