As if it’s not bad enough being addicted to the British version, China’s Got Talent, which has attracted 600 million viewers and 50,000 auditions is on the search for new talent in the UK for its third series.
The show plans to stage auditions in Chinese communities in London, Manchester and Liverpool next month and find at least five ‘winners’ – individuals or groups – who will then go to Shanghai to compete in the live show which screens from November to January.
Shanghai Media Group (SMG) which operates the show under license from Simon Cowell’s company Syco and Fremantle Media is looking for people with unique and exciting talents who have any connection to China.
The winners of the UK audition stages will be chosen at a live grand final in London and then whisked away to Shanghai where they will compete in the series.
