“The competition is about much more than a pretty face,” said director of Miss Teen Great Britain, Holly Ikin, “The primary aim is to celebrate our nation’s teenagers. finalists of Miss Teen Great Britain are an example of the promising future ahead.
“We are overwhelmed by the ambition and determination that these young girls have already displayed.
“The focus of the contest is about much more than how the girls look. Consequently, we have decided that all of finalists will have an interview with the judges and this will count for 50 per cent of the total score.
“We are very excited about introducing this to the judging; it is important for us that the winner is eloquent and able to express herself in a positive manner.”
