Blackpool is gearing up for one of the biggest nights in the social calendar when a top business awards comes to the Blackpool Tower.

The Be Inspired Business Awards will take place in the attraction on Spetember 11 and the organisers have revealed the running order of its ceremony but not who the star entertainer will be.

It will start with a champagne reception served at tables in the Tower from 6.30pm.

Dinner will then be served by Blackpool-based outside caterers Rowleys Offside from 7.30pm until 9.30pm, followed by the presentation of 19 awards including the lifetime achievement prize, Lancastrian of the Year.

Babs Murphy, chief executive of organisers the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, added: “From about 11pm, there will then be our two star acts. In the past we have had the likes of Tony Hadley, Matt Cardle and Russell Watson, so the BIBAs has become renowned for first-class entertainment and 2015 will not disappoint.

“If you still have any party left in you there’s an after-party disco hosted by Smooth Radio ending around 1.30am.”
