A top international DJ has today been revealed as the headline act for a dance music event at Blackpool Tower.
Martin Garrix will top the bill at Blackpool Rocks, this year taking over the world-famous tower filling 10 rooms with 20 artists for the event on Saturday, December 20.
The Dutch DJ’s set in the resort follows headline slots at Creamfields in Cheshire, Ultra Music Festival in Miami and Tomorrowland in Belgium.
He joins Duke Dumont, Radio One DJs Danny Howard and Trevor Nelson, Hannah Wants, MistaJam and R’n’B queen Ms.Dynamite on the bill.
Festival curator Danny Howard, from Lytham, said: “We’re really excited about this year’s line up and securing Martin Garrix will be amazing for Blackpool.
“My vision for the main arena was to deliver a journey through electronic music reflecting just how popular it has been in the UK recently.”
The third round of tickets for the event go on sale on Friday at 9am, after the first two rounds sold out in minutes.
