Blackpool could have talent after all!
With the final auditions for the television talent show being screened on Sunday and the live semi finals taking place all next week, South Shore’s Juma Athomani (pictured centre left) is keeping his fingers crossed that his act will go all the way.
Juma, who lives on Lowry Terrace, is leader of the acrobatic troupe which is part of the controversial Circus of Horrors which received a unanimous thumbs up from the programme’s panel of judges.
“This is the most exciting thing that has happened to me,” says Juma, who came to Blackpool as part of the Tower Circus cast. “But I’m praying for a spell of good weather so we can continue to train for our Circus of Horrors appearance.”
n Blackpool fans of the modern day freak show (no, not Britain’s Got Talent!) will be able to see the fuller Circus of Horrors production when it returns to the resort for a three day pre Halloween run at Blackpool Pleasure Beach from October 27 to 29.
