The guys and dolls of Bispham slipped on their blue suede shoes when Elvis impersonators came to town.
A festival of American cars was held at Harts Amusements, on the corner of Red Bank Road and Queen’s Promenade, on Thursday evening, with all the best the States has to offer - including a tribute to The King.
There were burger bars and rockabilly music to accompany the classic cars, brought by enthusiasts from across the area for what is to become a monthly event.
The rally was organised by Harts in conjunction with car enthusiast website www.UKwheelsevents.com.
Website owner Russell Larcombe said: “The whole purpose of the event is to enhance the area and bring people to Bispham who might not ordinarily go there.”
The next rally, which will see an arm wrestling contest take centre stage, will be held on Thursday, June 18 from 6.30pm.
