THE fantastic Barry Cryer is playing the Platform in Morecambe tomorrow.
Cryer, who is aged 77, is responsible for one of my favourite jokes. “I’m so old,” he says, “I don’t bother buying green bananas”.
Cryer has written for many noted performers, including Dave Allen, Rory Bremner, Tommy Cooper, Les Dawson, Bob Hope and Morecambe and Wise.
In this show, Cryer has been charged with persistent joking and asks for 20 other shows to be taken into consideration. The audience will be the judge and jury at this event.
The show starts 7.30pm. Tickets cost £16 and are available from 01524 582803.
