Band keeping the faith

The next best thing to seeing the real Bon Jovi blasts its way into Poulton tomorrow when the Bon Jovi Experience headlines at The Edge on Hardhorn Road.

The band are the only Bon Jovi tribute in the world to have played and shared a stage with the real Jon Bon Jovi and recreate all the New Jersey band’s greatest hits.

Bon Jovi have sold over 120 million albums worldwide, performing more than 2,600 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 34 million fans.

The Bon Jovi Experience is an outstanding tribute to the original band and Jon Bon Jovi clone frontman Tony (pictured left) is accompanied by three other former By Jovi tribute band members Jon (Tico) on drums, Steve C (Hugh) on bass and Chris (Dave) on keyboards plus Edd, (as Richie Sambora, guitarist)

Tony has been performing the music of Bon Jovi for over 15 years and the band were the first to be asked to perform on the US New Jersey tribute album, Garden State of Mind.

He is the only UK Bon Jovi tribute band frontman to actually be asked to appear on Channel 4’ s Big Breakfast show with the real Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora.

Tony performed in By Jovi from 1995 until July 2004, performing all over the world. After leaving that band he spent a year forming the Bon Jovi Experience with Steve Millichamp (Richie) who he met earlier on in his career. They successfully performed many shows until the time came to take the Bon Jovi Experience up a gear and the current line-up – seen at Lytham’s Lowther Pavilion last year – was formed.
