A LANDMARK pub in Poulton is set to undergo a £150,000 transformation that will see it relaunch with a fresh new look.
The Golden Ball Hotel on Ball Street, which is part of the Original Pub Company brand, will close on Monday January 14 for a major refurbishment and reopen on Wednesday January 23.
Spirit Pub Company, which owns and manages the Golden Ball Hotel, says it will be investing in the pub’s look and feel, creating a new open plan layout as well as updating the décor, bringing in additional furniture, including booth seating, and installing a new fitted bar.
Matthew Brown, general manager at the Golden Ball Hotel, said: “I can’t wait to introduce our new look and menu to our community.
“We’re all about satisfying busy lifestyles by offering range of light and tasty dishes that are easy to share with a pint from our wide variety of cask ales, beers and lagers.”
Original Pub Company is a brand from Spirit Pub Company which owns and operates 800 managed pubs throughout the UK.
