After learning how to dance the Charleston in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom and how to deliver slapstick comedy at the world famous Circus the children made their way to the Festival Headland to entertain passersby.

Children from Our Lady of the Assumption, Park, Waterloo, Holy Family, St Johns, Devonshire, Unity primary schools all joined the fun on Monday morning, thanks to Blackpool Council and the Arts Council of England.

Waterloo Primary Academy pupils Billy Cason and Amelia Rose, both five, made a mini Mooky and Boo as they clowned around in the sunshine.

Children also learned circus skills with the duo from Blackpool Tower Circus and put together their own comedy sketches working with Liverpool Comedy Trust.
