Britain’s Got Talent superstars Diversity are Blackpool bound on their new tour Up Close And Personal: The Exclusive Tour.
The dance troupe will take to the stage at the Opera House on Friday, November 27, with tickets going on sale this Friday.
The act won the top TV talent show in 2009 – with their prize a slot on the prestigous Royal Variety Performance, which that year was filmed at the Winter Gardens theatre.
And they returned the following year as part of the UDO Live street dance festival the following August.
After five sell-out tours, packing arenas up and down the country, this new venture is billed as their ‘most up close and personal tour yet’.
A statement on the group’s Facebook page said: “We’ve decided to put together a live show to bring us closer to our fans and supporters.
“The show will be based on our ITV special, which airs in January, and we shall be performing exclusively choreographed routines which, as always, will be everything you love about Diversity and more with some extra surprises.”
And taking to Twitter yesterday afternoon, Diversity’s leader and choreographer Ashley Banjo promised something ‘a little different!’.
The guys are currently on the road with this year’s Limitless: The Reboot arena tour, bringing together several genres of music from classical to hip-hop, to showcase the eye-catching routines which won the hearts of the nation.
With the motto “Dream, Believe, Achieve”, Diversity aims to inspire young people with passion.
Since winning Britain’s Got Talent, Diversity creator Banjo has gone on to appear as a judge for five series of Sky 1 show Got To Dance as well as Ashley Banjo’s Secret Street Crew.
And fellow troupe member Perri Kiely was crowned champion of ITV’s diving reality show Splash! earlier this year.
