AMUSEMENT park bosses are hoping to find the next big thing at the Pleasure Beach’s annual Big One Talent Show.
But they need talented young Sandgrown’uns to sign up and show what they’ve got.
The competition is open to anyone aged five to 16 years old, solo artists or groups, opera or pop singers, moon walkers to dance troupes, the list goes on.
Hot on the heels of Britain’s Got Talent winner Ashleigh and Pudsey the attraction has already lined up a dog act as Leanne Pattinson will be bringing her pooch Bailey to perform tricks in front of a panel of judges.
They include Blackpool Pleasure Beach managing director Amanda Thompson, creative director Antony Johns plus a number of other special guest judges joining them on the panel.
Amanda said: “Last year we had lots of talented youngsters on stage and we were amazed by what they had to offer.
“The rise of popular shows like Britain’s Got Talent is helping youngsters on to the path to stardom and we want to show what talent is on offer by giving them the stage to perform on here in Blackpool.
“We are really excited about Big One Talent this season as we know there are lots of youngsters with bags of talent out there and we want to show them to the world.”
Anyone who thinks they have what it takes to make it to the finals can get their name down for the heats which take place on August 2, 9, 16, 23 with the final on the 30th, all in the Paradise Room at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
