A FYLDE coast pub is launching a new campaign providing bedtime packs to child carers.

The County Hotel in Lytham has joined the The Pyjama Project which will take place during National Storytelling Week from January 26 to February 2 with people encouraged to donate children’s pyjamas or bedtime books at any point during the week.

The pyjamas and stories will be gifted to Honeypot, a charity that provides respite breaks for vulnerable children and young carers, giving them time away from the stresses of home life.

Anyone wishing to buy a pair of pyjamas – for boys or girls aged between five and 12 – or donate good condition unwanted children’s books can hand them in at the pub any time before February 2.
