AN art exhibition has been capturing the imaginations of commuters at a station cafe.
Paintings and pencil sketches of Poulton train station, created by Hodgson Academy’s Art Club, have been a big hit at Le Feast at the station on Breck Road.
Fans of the work are able to buy pieces, with all proceeds going to the Trinity Hospice.
But, the paintings only went on sale after high demand from commuters.
Mike Gibson, general manager of Le Feast, said: “Our customers have been absolutely thrilled with the art work. There were offers to buy pieces as soon as it went on display.”
Emma Christie, a Year Nine pupil, said: “It is great our work is being seen.”
Art deco inspired canvasses are also on display in Poulton Library to celebrate the school’s 80th anniversary.
