Straight-talking former MP Ann Widdecombe will be coming to Lancashire later this month to sign copies of her new book.
The event will take place on July 16 and has been organised by Kirkham-based Silverdell Bookshop.
An Evening With Ann Widdecombe will be held in the Greenbank Lecture Theatre, at the University of Central Lancashire, in Preston, starting at 7pm.
Ann, who is well-known for her political career but also her appearances on Strictly Come Dancing, will be interviewed and there will then be a question and answer session with the audience.
The 65-year-old came to Blackpool in 2010, when Strictly came to the Tower Ballroom, dancing with Anton du Beke.
Her autobiography, Strictly Ann, tells her story from early family life in Singapore and her convent school days to her student ambitions at Birmingham and Oxford, and her long-serving years as an MP.
Tickets for the night are £20, which include a personalised signed copy of the book.
