TAKE a bow Daisy Whetlor, the pretty teenager has walked away with £1,000 and the title of Miss Teen Great Britain 2012.
Daisy beat off fierce competition from 12 other girls at a star-studded showdown at The Globe theatre at Blackpool Pleasure Beach last night.
She follows in the footsteps of last year’s beauty queen Constance Baldwin, who became the first ever winner of the competition 12 months ago.
Daisy competed in the contest after winning the title of Miss Teen Surrey.
The grand finalists gathered in Blackpool to take part in photo-shoots and enjoy the rides and roller-coasters at the Pleasure Beach.
They then donned their pyjamas for a glamorous diva party before stepping on stage in their sparkling dresses to compete for the prestigious title.
The winner of Miss Teen Great Britain will now be given the opportunity to work with a top teen model agency.
A spokesman for Miss Teen GB said: “The contest was created to be a positive and confidence-building experience for teenagers.
“The girls get to make new friends and we aim to make each and every contestant feel like a queen.
“Most importantly, we open the doors to fun and exciting opportunities. It offers teenagers the chance to participate in a beauty contest that combines glamour and giving our finalists the character-building experience of a lifetime.”
