CHARACTERS created by a group for budding writers have had their book published.

Breeze Along the Wyre is a collection of short stories about the hilarious adventures of Cat, Dog, Donkey and Cockerel, four friends who travel along the River Wyre.

The Cleveleys Writers’ book tells the tale of Donkey visiting the farmers market at Poulton and Cat trying to be a salesman in Fleetwood.

The paperback book is based on an idea by Malcolm Brocklehurst, from Cleveleys, and is available from Amazon.

All the stories are fully illustrated with cartoons by Roi Einarsson.

The colouring book of the cartoons is available from Cleveleys Writers who meet from 1.30pm at Cleveleys Library, Rossall Road, on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
