A DOZEN artists have pooled their talents for an exhibition of animal and wildlife art which they are launching with an open evening at Lytham’s Heritage Centre on Henry Street tonight from 7pm.
The evening is an opportunity for the public to meet the artists and view the artwork on sale which ranges from greeting cards to limited edition prints and originals.
“We are a friendly bunch of artists and welcome as many visitors as possible to come by and ask us questions about our art and our careers,” says Scottish based artist Louise Jarvis who is coming down from the north of Scotland to exhibit along with some of the UK’s top named animal artists.
A percentage of the money raised from the sale of one of her own prints is being donated to The Samaritans she says.
The exhibition runs until September 30.
