Fleetwood Marine Hall has lined up a raft of star names aimed at making it a major player on the coast’s 2012 entertainment scene.
Following confirmation of the return of professional pantomime to the venue recently and a major pantomime for Christmas 2012, general manager Chris Walne has now signed several other top names.
The Temptations are embarking on a UK tour this autumn and bring their live show to the Marine Hall on Thursday October 11 at 7.30pm.
Direct from the USA with three-time Grammy Award and two time American Music Award winner, Richard Street fronting the band, The Temptations will be airing all their hits and with 20 million records sales under their belt including My Girl, Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone and Just My Imagination there’s plenty go at.
Essence of Ireland will be at the venue on Wednesday and Thursday April 25 and 26 with a large cast of talented singers, dancers, musicians combining breath-taking dance routines with the very best of Irish music and a touch of Irish craic, all woven into a heart warming tale.
Still with Ireland, middle of the road singer Dominic Kirwan, who is widely regarded as one of Ireland’s finest entertainers brings his distinctive style to the Marine Hall on Sunday August 12 at 7.30pm with a brand new Live and Personal show.
On Thursday August 16, chart topping act The Soldiers are starting their six night only tour of the UK in Fleetwood.
Following three top-three albums and subsequent sell out tours, Corporal Ryan Idzi, Sergeant Major Gary Chilton and Staff Sergeant Ritchie Maddocks are bringing their show to the Fylde coast for the first time.
Finally, for one night only and complete with his full live band, Des O’Connor arrives in the port for his one man show. Having recently performed two sell out shows at Blackpool Grand Theatre, tickets are bound to be in demand for his Saturday September 29 concert.
