Absence makes the heart grow fonder, they say, but in dance brand Randy Ron’s case, absence makes the parties bigger – which is exactly what is happening next Thursday for a huge A-Level results night!
Take one chart topping act, one BBC Radio 1 DJ, one festival-like outdoor main stage, two extra arenas, plus some of the best local DJs in town, and it sounds like the recipe for Blackpool’s biggest party of the summer!
This year’s Randy Ron A-Level results gathering is taking place at the end of North Pier, under the Paradise banner.
Headlining the show, following chart success with their single Feel The Love, are Rudimental, who will be performing a DJ set alongside Blackpool’s own BBC Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard, pictured left, who returns after rocking crowds around the world all summer, as well as presenting his weekly Radio 1 Dance Anthems.
Randy Ron’s resident spokesman Alex Huckerby said: “It’s a brand new concept that we’ve never tried before, but that’s why we’re doing it.
“It’s going to be pretty special to see so many people raving under the stars, whether they’re celebrating their A-Level results or just out for a good night.”
Also on the night will be Jason Fubar who is celebrating his birthday party in style and Randy Ron resident Elliott Smith providing main stage support, along with Manchester’s DJ G2 and Blackpool’s Jay Fontalba taking care of the tunes in the R&B/Urban arena.
Completing the line-up will be Sankey’s regulars Carl Holloway, Adam West and James Lawler, who will be taking things a little deeper in The ‘Tech’ House.
