Blackpool singing star Linda Nolan entered the Celebrity Big Brother house on Friday night.
The Nolan Sister joined N-Dubz star Dappy, former World Heavyweight champion boxer Evander Holyfield, Apprentice finalist Luisa Zissman, journalist Liz Jones, singers Lee Ryan and 82-year-old entertainer Lionel Blair.
Also in the house are comic Jim Davidson, glamour model Casey Batchelor and US actress Jasmine Waltz, as well as reality TV veterans Sam Faiers, from The Only Way Is Essex, and Made In Chelsea’s Ollie Locke.
The Channel 5 show, hosted by Emma Willis, will use 45 cameras to keep an eye on the latest batch of housemates.
Big Brother bosses promised the contestants “a sumptuous and ostentatious palace” that is “swathed in luxury” but warned them that anyone caught breaking the rules could be banished to the garden prison.
It comes as former Lytham resident Jenny Eclair also stars in another reality TV show, Splash!, which started on Saturday night.
The former Loose Women panellist will compete with other celebrities including reality star Gemma Collins, Hollyoaks’ Gemma Merna and TV presenter Michaela Strachan on the ITV Tom Daley-fronted show.
