One of Britain’s top comedians is coming to Lytham.
Management at Lowther Pavilion have pulled off a real coup with an appearance by TV favourite John Bishop on Tuesday, July 1.
Bishop is warming up for a 40-date arena tour in the autumn with a series of more intimate gigs around the country – and at Lowther he follows in the footsteps of Jason Manford, who packed out the 457-capacity West Beach venue last June.
The Manford gig sold out in just three hours – and Lowther officials fully expect that record to be shattered when tickets for the Bishop appearance go on sale tomorrow from 9am.
Lowther manager Mark Alexander said; “We are all very excited and looking forward to John Bishop’s visit.”
Tickets will cost £15 each and will be restricted to four per person, with no resales allowed. Extra staff will be on hand to process ticket sales.
The date at Lowther is part of Bishop’s Work In Progress warm-up tour, taking in 20 dates at 13 venues, starting at Lancaster next month. All of the other 19 dates have sold out.
Ticket details are available from the Lowther box office on (01253) 794221.
