Blackpool’s Grand Theatre has launched a consultation over proposals which could see three new jobs created - but puts four posts at risk.
The theatre’s chief executive Ruth Eastwood announced the proposals in a staff meeting earlier today.
She said: “The theatre needs to respond to changes in the market place and this proposed re-organisation is one step towards doing that by managing our resources to better effect.”
Proposals by the organisation put four of the current roles at risk of redundancy. But the restructure could see new jobs created.
The Grand Theatre employs 50 full, part-time and seasonal staff and runs with the help of a volunteer force of front of house staff who give their time free of charge.
