Loose yourself in great Motown

Diane Shaw - Motown night at Sands

Diane Shaw - Motown night at Sands

Diane Shaw, the North’s favourite soul diva and her band make their last visit of the year to Sands Venue on Central Promenade tomorrow.

Having performed all over the world, Sands is already a favourite for Diane with its Las Vegas style room and join-in-if-you-want-to atmosphere.

In the spirit of the great soul and Motown legends before her, Diane delivers a show with class and distinction – still young enough to shake a tail-feather, yet old enough to have grown up singing and learning from the best.

Diane has spent the last 15 years performing all over the world supporting artists such as Sister Sledge, George McCrae, Grammy-award winning artist Kirk Whallum and jazz legend Peter White and has this year teamed up with musicians, who also currently tour with the likes of The Four Tops, The Temptations, Tavares, The Drifters and The Three Degrees.

Diane was given her big break many years ago when she was watched by 15 million people winning ITV’s Stars In their Eyes as Diana Ross, and has never stopped performing since.

Throughout the years, she has sung in front of royalty, dignitaries, celebrity’s and TV stars, she even once shared a dressing room with David and Victoria Beckham, before she went out and performed for them at a charity event.

Tickets are £29.99 including a three course meal. Box office (01253) 625262.
