There’s a whole of shaking going on at Hampton Road Social Club and Caravan Park South Shore, tonight when Linda Gail Lewis returns to town.
Originally a collaborator on recordings by elder brother, legendary rock and roller Jerry Lee Lewis and, Van Morrison, she is now a star in her own right.
With a distinctive keyboard style and powerhouse vocals she is credited with keeping the family’s rocking legacy alive and intact – even finding the time to occasionally rip it up with brother Jerry here and there.
Presented by Mike Rossi, who has hosted rock and roll nights at The Queens Hotel, South Shore, every Friday for the last 12 years, the evening also features Mike Byrne and The Sunrockers. Admission is £10.
