The first meeting of the Fylde coast’s newest anti-fracking group was given a ringing endorsement from a ‘Madchester’ music icon.

Happy Mondays dancer Bez was in Fleetwood to support the backlash against companies hoping to drill for shale gas in Lancashire.

Dozens of people piled into The Steamer, on Queens Terrace, to hear a presentation from Fleetwood Folk Say No to Fracking (FFS No Fracking) on Wednesday night.
