One-time Bluetones frontman Mark Morriss has just embarked on a solo tour and stops off at 53 Degrees in Preston on Friday.

The man behind 13 top 40 singles in the late 90s/early part of the Millennium, with hits like Marblehead Johnson, Bluetonic and Slight Return, is touring ahead of the release of a solo album, following the demise of the Bluetones in 2011.

We have two tickets to give away for Friday’s gig, which should cost £10 each (or £8 if bought in advance).

To be in with a chance of winning a pair all you have to do is answer the following question:

In which decade did the Bluetones have their first top 40 hit?

Answers, plus your full name and address and a daytime telephone number, to: steve.canavan@blackpoolgazette.co.uk

You haven’t got long. Deadline for entries is tomorrow at 5pm.

The winner will be notified by phone and must collect their tickets from the 53 Degrees box office before the concert.

Meanwhile to buy tickets for Friday’s gig, go to www.53degrees.net
