The show will go on for mother-to-be Jennifer Ellison.
The star has confirmed she will still be performing in panto at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre after announcing yesterday that she is expecting her third child.
Ellison’s agents have confirmed she will take the starring role in Sleeping Beauty at The Grand in December three months after welcoming her very own Babe In The Wood into the world.
The show’s producer, Martin Dodd, told The Gazette: “Jennifer is delighted with the pregnancy and the baby is due in September.
“She will be on stage this December in Sleeping Beauty as she loves panto and can’t wait to perform at the Grand.”
Jennifer, rocketed to fame in Brookside from 1998 to 2003 and has been a regular on British TV screens in various shows ever since.
In 2012 her profile got another boost when she made it to the semi-final stages of Dancing On Ice with Blackpool’s own Dan Whiston.
She has also done theatre work and starred in musicals.
Bosses at The Grand hope her presence in this year’s panto will ensure packed houses throughout its runs.
The show will also star perennial favourite Steve Royle, who is appearing in the theatre’s annual panto for a 13th successive year.
The show runs from Friday, December 5 to Sunday, January 4.
