If you are looking for a fantastic fun day out for all the family, then look no further than The Gazette’s Lancashire Festival.

Now in its sixth year, the festival, sponsored by BMW and Mini dealer Lloyd Lancashire, is set to be another action-packed day, hosting the finest Lancashire has to offer, including food stands, arts and crafts, jewellery, toys and gifts, beauty products and much more.

The event, at Guy’s Thatched Hamlet, near Garstang, on Sunday June 22 from 11am to 4pm, will include a visit from Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer, BBC Cash in the Attic’s Paul Hayes and his group The Paul Hayes Collection and up-and-coming comedy band Lupa Tom.

Band member Gareth Jones, from South Park, Lytham, said the group was excited about the county festival.

He added: “We’re really looking forward to playing this gig. It sounds like it’s going to be a great day and, as proud Lancastrians, what could be better than playing at the Lancashire Festival? I hope plenty of people turn up to support us and that our music doesn’t put too much of a dampener on the day!”

Prostage Entertainments will run a live roadshow throughout the day with entertainment from local bands, singers, choirs, dancers and cheerleaders

And Guy’s Thatched Hamlet will be firing up the BBQ, cooking a host of local meats and serving Lancashire Ales to tantalise your taste buds.

A spokesman for Lloyd Lancashire, sponsor of the event said: “Don’t miss out, come and join us at the Lancashire Festival 2014.

“We look forward to being of service to visitors and meeting you at the Festival.”

If you wish to book a stand at the event, please call The Gazette on (01253) 361713.
