Jay Thomas has signed a long-term contract extension at Arsenal following his successful loan with the Seasiders.
The 18-year-old midfielder spent the opening three months of the season at Bloomfield Road, scoring twice in 12 appearances.
Pool are expected to inquire about the young Gunner's availability when the transfer window opens on Friday.
