EVERY penny of the £75,000 from Kirkham and Wesham's Wembley adventure will be ploughed back into ground improvements towards the club's goal to be in the Football League by 2022.
Now rebranded AFC Fylde, Kirkham plan to build new headquarters on farmland next to Ribby Hall at Wrea Green but president David Haythornthwaite has pledged to carry on upgrading their current home at the Birley Arms in Wrea Green.
Haythornthwaite h
as bought the 26 acre site, on which are planned football and cricket pitches and an indoor arena.
"At the moment there are some legal complexities which need sorting. These aren't stopping us moving forward but we have to dot the i's and cross the t's before a planning application so that interested people know what they are coming into.

"We've had to consider whether it's money well spent on the current ground, bearing in mind that hopefully in two or three years we will be moving to a permanent facility.
"But for next season quite a lot of money is being spent on the pitch and adding two sections to the stand will take us to Unibond requirements."
Improved car parking, a corporate hospitality suite and electronic scoreboard are also on the agenda.
"A lot of exciting things are going on. We may keep the present ground for other uses, therefore the money won't be wasted," said Haythornthwaite.
