A FURIOUS Ian Holloway has axed three players from his squad after a breach of club discipline.
Neal Eardley, Barry Bannan and Ishmel Demontagnac were spotted in a local nightclub just hours after Saturday's home defeat to Leicester City.

The squad were due to train on Sunday morning and all three have been dropped from the squad to face Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.

Holloway will hold face-to-face talks with the trio today before deciding on what further action is to be taken.

"The three of them went out dancing on Saturday night, which I aint happy with," Holloway told the Gazette.

"Those three won't be in the squad on Tuesday.

"You can't hide a thing in Blackpool and I'm very very disapointed in them.

"Ive dropped them from squad as I want to send out a message that I won't have that."

Well done Ollie, got to keep the discipline. Eardley was poor on Saturday and looked leggy, perhaps an early night would have done him good. Bannan would not have been bothered as he's injured anyway and Ishmel doesn't seem to want to make the most of the chance Ollie has given him - very disappointing.

what must be particularly disappointing for olly they are all his signings
everyone deserves a chance
everyone will make mistakes
ishmael this is one chance too many one mistake too much you have let olly the club the fans down not for the first time
you had problems at walsall and you were given another chance
barry and neil show how sorry you are and donate 2 weeks wages to a local charity make a public apology dont do it again
you 2 deserve another chance ishmael you need to go

Rubbish... these are three young adults they didn't go out boozing before the game - I think Olly needs to tell them off but to drop them from the team - the term 'cutting your nose off to... ' comes to mind. Come on Olly don't be so stupid we need Neil in that team. Ishmal has not been given enough first team chances and could still come good, as for the little lad well he's injured.

We don't know the full circumstances, but I expect it would need to be pretty serious for Ollie to have made this decision, I don't think it would just be a case of a few pints then an early night....! We do need the players but we also need to build a team that is serious about the game in general and BFC. After not having a win for a few games, they need to be focused on training and how can they give 100% if they have been out the night before?

Yeah I understand the reasoning t-bar but surely there are other ways to discipline these three - the way chosen might also mean another defeat awaits on Tuesday... But then again we might win. One things for sure no one knows how many pints these guys have in their own homes after a match... do we!

there are ground rules for a reason and it must have been serious to drop them from the squad! Bannan is injured anyway, Eardly needs to sort him self out, as he wasn't good on sat and Demon needs to go - end of! he is more interested in keeping his flaming hands warm with his shirt pulled over them than playing. Off load the dead wood......

If you don't set ground rules and Manage your team - they will walk all over you.....

Oh and its 'Ollie' by the way....

Footballer dancing with a broken toe-not a good idea. He would not be playing for a few weeks anyway.
Eardley struggled Sat s may be a blessing, we need a strong team on Tuesday as Sheff Weds outmuscled us last time (but Ollie did drop Gnashers!). demon isnot good enough & has history, thats why Walsall got shut. Ollie gave him one last chance, blown it?
Its Charlie & Brett we will miss.
