SIMON Grayson does not believe in sending his Pool players on long runs up and down the beach as they launch into pre-season training today ... but arch-rivals Preston North End don't agree.
See for yourselves from these pictures, as PNE ventured into enemy territory yesterday to train on St Annes beach.

Asked if his players would be running up and down the sand dunes, Grayson said: "I think those days have gone. We will work them hard but there won't be hours and hours of running. There will be a lot of ball work from day one and we will try to make it as varied and enjoyable as we can.

"The players were all weighed at the end of last season and they are allowed (to report in) a few pounds over that weight. I am sure they will have looked after themselves."

Look what the tide brought in. All washed-up and no-where to go! Trips to Blackpool are the highlight of their year(and career), running their hearts out hoping to be spotted by Larry!
Premiership Never Ever!!!

Have a look next time you travel outside your unitary boundary to Lytham or Fleetwood look for the sign thats says welcome to Lancashire. You have not been part of Lancashire since 1997 - No wonder Blackpool as a place is going to the dogs - Have you every read the news. Or even still ask the gazette.
I was only having a laugh your so touchy. Good luck for the season rather have teams from lancashire in the championship than the likes of colchester, scunthorpe.
