SKIPPER Jamie Milligan has been named Fleetwood Town's player of the season.
The former Blackpool FC midfielder, whose 15 league goals helped Town win the Unibond premier title, was the choice of both the fans and players.
Manager Tony Greenwood's award went to defender Phil Robinson, who is recovering from a badly fractured wrist, suffered in the final league game of the season against Frickley.
Robinson was able to attend the end-of-season Peter Swales Memorial Shield victory over Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday, when he finally got his hands on the champions' trophy.
