FORMER Scottish international Paul Dickov has completed his move to League One side Leicester City, agreeing a two-year contract after turning down a deal at Blackpool.
The veteran striker moves to the Walkers Stadium as a free agent and the transfer has delighted Foxes' fans - Dickov enjoyed hero status with Leicester in two previous spells.

Manager Nigel Pearson is backing Dickov to spearhead Leicester's promotion fight.

"Paul has all of the attributes you require to succeed as a footballer. He has tremendous spirit and I am delighted to have been able to bring him here," he said.

"He is the sort of player who never believes the team is beaten. He breeds fear into defences and I am sure he will be a tremendous asset for us.

"He will give us everything and I am sure he will be a big favourite with the fans here once again."

Dickov ended last season on loan at Blackpool, his goals helping to stave off the threat of relegation.

No longer interested in reading about Paul Dickov thank you!

Well said Aero ... whilst it will be of passing interest to see what Dickov, Hoolahan and Gorks do, the current 'Pool squad is what the Gazette should be reporting on. Dickov (especially), Hoolahan and Gorks all had an opportunity to show some loyalty to a club which gave them the 'main chance' last season and all decided not to ... why, therefore, should we show them any interest? Good Luck to them ... now let us move on, others will have their chance and may, just may, prove bigger, better and more loyal.

If Dickov or his agent wants to move elsewhere, then let them, as they have shown no loyalty to our club for rescuing his career last season. What a great career move, going down a division. I imagine that they will give him a coaching job to keep his agent quiet !! As said by my 2 previos colleagues, let's move on and forget about players who are not loyal to the club.

its not orange

Rescuing his career, don't make me laugh.
More like the other way round, without his goals and performances YOU would be in a divsion lower.
As for loyalty, he hadn't signed for Blackpool, which unless I'm mistaken means he wasn't a Blackpool player.
