DERBY boss Nigel Clough is attempting to snap up Leicester striker DJ Campbell.
Clough wants to land out-of-favour Campbell on loan before the window for short-term deals closes on Thursday.

The Foxes have already helped their neighbours by giving them veteran Scot Paul Dickov, and boss Nigel Pearson is reported to be in favour of allowing Campbell out.

If Pool discover Campbell is available on loan, they are likely to try and move in and do a deal.

Holloway is thought to be actively looking to bring in either a midfielder or a striker – possibly both – before the deadline.
