Taylor made for a debut

Fylde coach Mark Nelson

FYLDE RFC are set to give a debut to back row forward Rob Taylor in the National League One clash at home to Cambridge on Saturday.

Taylor, formerly of King Edward VII & Queen Mary School, Lytham, has played for the Fylde second team this term as well as Lancashire Under-20s.

He is currenty studying at Manchester University and is expected to start on the bench on Saturday for the rearranged fixture, which kicks off at 2pm.

Coach Mark Nelson said of Taylor: “We have high hopes for him.”
