FYLDE rugby club have continued their summer recruitment campaign by snapping up exciting young scrum-half Nathan Fowles.
Fylde have come to an agreement with Fowles’ parent club Sale Sharks, allowing him to play at the Woodlands for a season.
Despite his tender years, the teenager is expected to be pushing for a first team place.
Coach Mark Nelson said after the move was finalised: “Nathan has pace, vision and he is a natural scrum-half with a big future and I think he will develop into a Premiership player in the next two or three seasons. “
Fowles played for Preston Grasshoppers last season.
