Fylde's long run without a win on their travels continued against Loughborough in National League One

The Students landed another penalty before the match's first try after 26 minutes as Fylde hit back with a converted score by Adam Lewis to reduce the deficit to two points.

In the run-up to half-time, Waters added a fourth penalty to take the score to 12-7 before the home side crossed for a converted try.

Fylde had a clear chance to pull a try back at the start of the second half, but messed it up,

It proved costly as Loughborough went to the other end and scored a second try to make it 24-7

Loughborough received their second yellow card of the contest and during the time the home side were reduced to 14 men, prop Jake Pope crossed for a try for Fylde on 58 minutes.

Three minutes later, Waters slotted over a penalty to make it 32-12 for the home side.

Prop George Davis increased Loughborough's healthy advantage with a converted try (39-12).

On 76 minutes Sam Pointon races in for another converted try as Fylde's capitulation continued (46-12).
