Milli's joy as Rogan signs in

FLEETWOOD Town skipper Jamie Milligan is celebrating after being named in the Conference North team of the season, while his club is celebrating another close season signing.

The promotion-chasing Highbury club have continued their ambitious recruitment drive by signing Barrow's Blackpool-born attacker Nick Rogan.

Rogan, 25, began his career with Morecambe, then had five months at Southport before joining Barrow in February 2006, helping them win promotion to the Blue Square Premier .

Town skipper Milligan was nominated by the majority of other managers in the division.

Midfielder Milligan said: "It's very pleasing, especially because it has been voted for by other managers. I suppose it shows you're doing something right and it's a nice little accolade."

Milligan combines playing for Fleetwood with running various soccer schools throughout Lytham and beyond, and he will once again be a busy man in the months ahead.

The 29-year-old is staging three separate football and sports camps during the summer holidays. Milligan will be at King Edward school in Lytham for a six week-long soccer school courses, from July 20 onwards.

At BAE in Warton there are six week-long multi-sport courses, where children can take part in football, cricket and tennis.

There are also two week-long courses at Carr Hill school in Kirkham, the weeks starting August 3 and 10.

All the courses are open for 5 to 12-year-olds and cost 12 a day, or 50 for the week. Contact 07703 213979.
