QUEENS Park Rangers confirmed this afternoon that they had made a bid for Blackpool defender Kaspars Gorkss.
The Latvian international looks to be on his way, though the Seasiders said that the offer had not yet been accepted and that the chairman Karl Oyston was considering it.
No figure has yet been given by either side, but it has been widely speculated that there is a 250,000 release clause in the Latvian international's contract.
Gorkss has been in huge demand on the back of a series of outstanding displays at the heart of the Blackpool defence over the past year.
QPR were just one of several Championship clubs on the trail of the talented central defender.
