HERE’S a golfing opportunity not to be missed!

The Gazette is offering one lucky reader the chance to enjoy a premium day at The Open championship winning a pair of hospitality package tickets worth around £600.

Three runners-up will also win a pair of tickets to one of the practice days, on July 17.

The Open Championship takes place at Royal Lytham and St Annes from July 19 to 22, and will be preceded by four practice days from July 15-18 – the perfect chance to see golfing superstars like Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods and last year’s champion Darren Clarke.

Thanks to the recent £2m investment, there’s now a new double-deck pavilion, new bistro-style restaurant in the tented village, as well as enhanced event TV and leader board information.

The Open also offers free entrance for juniors (under-16s) on any day of The Open, when accompanied by an adult, while practice days offer exceptional value for the whole family. For more information or to purchase tickets call 01334 460000 or visit TheOpen.com.

How to enter: Simply answer the following question correctly. At which club does the 2012 Open Championship take place?

Then email your answer with Open in the subject field, to competitions@ blackpoolgazette.co.uk, adding your name, address and daytime phone number to reach us by Friday. Standard Gazette competition rules apply.

*A PLACE in the Open is up for grabs when the Amateur Championship tees-off at Royal Troon and Glasgow Gailes Links (June 18-23). There will be a place in next year’s United States Open and, traditionally, an invitation to the 2013 Masters.
