Sooner or later it is going to 'click' for Blackpool according to manager Gary Bowyer.

The Seasiders’ winless run at Bloomfield Road was extended to nine games on Saturday, when they drew 2-2 with Walsall.

But it could prove to be a vital point for Bowyer’s side, who were forced to come from behind twice to seal a draw that keeps them two points clear of the League One drop zone in 19th.

But Bowyer insists the mood is still positive among his squad, despite only two wins in 18 games.

He said: “We just need to keep believing, keep working with each other and keep supporting.

“The supporters were terrific with us, by the way. They stuck with us before the game; they stuck with us again throughout as well.

“That’s what they’ve been like throughout our time here.

“I hope they keeping doing that because sooner or later it’s going to click for us and we’ll go on a run like we did at the end of last season.

“We’re not walking around feeling sorry for ourselves. We never will do that.”

As has been the case many times this season, Pool controlled much of Saturday’s game but were unable to put the opposition to the sword.

Walsall opened the scoring against the run of play through Joe Edwards only for Nathan Delfouneso to equalise with a composed finish.
