Rowe hat-trick in five-goal romp

AFC Fylde consolidated their place at the top of Vanarama National League North on the strength of this emphatic win against struggling Stalybridge.

The match was all but over as a contest at half-time as the Coasters surged into a 4-0 lead, Danny Rowe scoring twice, while Steve Williams and Dan Bradley were also on target.

What made the day all the more satisfying was the fact that Fylde's main rivals Darlington lost 2-1 to Tamworth.
