FLEETWOOD Town could be without the services of Andy Mangan for up to five months.
The midfielder has not played first team football since Town’s trip to Bristol Rovers in September due to a mystery knee injury.
Following a visit to a specialist this week it was revealed the player, who played a key role in Fleetwood’s Conference winning campaign, has torn cartilage - an injury which could see him sidelined for between four and five months.
Mangan took to social networking sites to reveal the blow.
He posted: “I’ve torn my cartilage! Will be out between 4 to 5 months!
“I’m a fighter, will come back a different animal!”
