Midfielder Michael Potts has become AFC Fylde’s first signing as they prepare for their Conference bow.
The Preston-born 22-year-old has joined the Coasters from fellow Conference North side Guiseley.
Fylde boss Dave Challinor, who this week signed a new two-year contact, said: “We are delighted that Michael has agreed to join us.
“We went to watch the Conference North Play-off Final, in which he played for Guiseley against Altrincham. He had a really good game and stood out.”
The former Manchester United trainee started his professional career with Blackburn and gained Football League experience with York before joining West Yorkshire club Guiseley last summer, just missing promotion in that play-off final.
