When they return to England they have an away fixture at National League side Southport on Tuesday July 26 and travel to National League side Gateshead on Wednesday 27.

And Pressley says he wants to start the season with two players for every 11 positions to encourage competition for places.

He said: “In pre-season every single member of the first team group will get game time.

“When the fixtures are finalised we should be playing some Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday games because I want to give every body an opportunity to stake a claim.

“I want to bring a real competition to the squad.”
